摘要:The purpose of this study was to examine the performances
of gifted children in non-verbal Standard Progressive
Matrices Test and TONI-3, thought to be independent
of culture. The research group included
105 gifted children who were special education students
at the Science and Arts Center (BILSEM) in the
city of Izmir. The mean age of the children was 9.09
and standard deviation was .72. Standard Progressive
Matrices Test and Toni-3 test were administered to the
students individually by the researcher. The results of
the study showed gifted students had high scores in
the Standard Progressive Matrices Test and the TONI3
Test. These scores highly correlated with their scores
WISC-R.
