摘要:In this study, an attempt has been made to study the non-linear time history analysis of transmission
towers on various sloped ground (13.5 degree and 30 degree) when subjected to seismic forces in seismic zone 5. Two
different heights (30m and 40m height) transmission towers with different bracing systems (eccentric bracing, X
bracing and inverted V bracing) are modelled and analysed using SAP2000 software. Effect of provision of base
isolation (rubber isolator) technique is also dealt. The parameters such as axial force, time period, base reactions are
obtained. All these parameters increase as the height increases.
