摘要：The effects of various coatings on fatigue life can be either negative or positive, depending on many
parameters and such effects can be hardly predicted. The current review discusses the impact of coatings on welded
joints with respect to their fatigue lives. The scope of the review also includes the discussion of factors influencing
fatigue life of welded joints, fatigue life estimation methods and coatings technology.
