摘要:Mobile Ad hoc networks (MANET) are characterized by multihop wireless connectivity, infrastructure
less environment and frequently changing topology. It’s characterized by multi-hop wireless connection and frequently
changing networks. This paper involves study of four routing protocols (GRP, Epidemic Routing, HSR and SRMP),
and performance comparisons between these routing protocols on the basis of performance metrics (throughput, packet
delivery ratio, and end to end delay measured after simulation of network) with the help of OPNET Simulator. In this
study we have considered three mobility scenarios: Random Waypoint, Group Mobility and Freeway Models. The
effort allows a fair comparison of the capabilities and limitations of different types of mobility patterns and their
suitability for contemporary MANET routing protocols.
