摘要：The purpose of this paper is to present the potential advantages of using blockchain technology in the field of international trade. Blockchain, known as one of the disruptive technologies of the moment, will bring important changes to the process of specific foreign trade operations. In this paper, there are presented elements specific to the blockchain technology, its underlying principles, but also the areas in which this technology can be applied. Referring to the academic literature and various online sources, we identified blockchain-based applications in the international trade field (logistics and financial scope) and we highlighted the potential benefits of this technology.
