摘要:The ambient temperature inside the houses affects their level of residential comfort.
In order to achieve an optimum level of thermal sensation, currently, mechanical
aeration systems that are not accessible to communities with low financial resources
are used, due to their high energy and economic cost. The present work focuses on
developing a refrigeration option for the specific group of low-income social housing,
located in Colombian warm climate territories. For this, a state of the art of
methodologies and techniques of air conditioning of dwellings was made, as well as
of theories of fluid mechanics applicable to the reduction of the thermal gradient of
air currents. Based on these, housing scale models were formulated, with cooling
mechanisms through Venturi tubes. The results showed an average reduction of 3 to
4 ° C in the interior temperature of the model to scale, when using this technique of
zero energy cost. This result originates then the need to study the integration in
traditional architectural designs, the location of these devices to achieve sustainable
air conditioning, both in the group studied, as well as in massive housing projects,
including high-rise structures.
