摘要：A few relations between insufficient physical activity and health problems are presented. Four different
types of health costs are defined. Some results of studies of direct and indirect health costs, inside and
outside of health systems, are presented. As an example some results of costs of obesity are presented.
Emphasis is given on the importance of younger populations and on a need for developing and
implementing strategies for promoting healthy life styles which include satisfying physical activity.
