摘要:Aim: The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of body height on the intensity of low back
pain. Method- The research was conducted in the Physiotherapy Institute of Occupational Medicine (IOM)
in Obiliq, Kosovo. Data was collected throughout one year in 2016 and consisted of sixty-three
participants. Results-The outcome is analyzed using basic statistical parameters, arithmetic mean (Х),
standard deviation (SD), and T-test for small dependent samples. Our results show a significant difference
between female respondents with a body height above and below 170 cm. In the female group the T-test is
P< 0.05. The t-value is 2.20315. The p-value is 0.019443. The result is significant at p <0.05. On the
contrary, in the male group, there was no difference in body height in relation to the intensity of low back
pain. Conclusion–There was no relation found in males between their body height and intensity of low
back pain. However, the results for females showed that taller women experienced more pain in their lower
back.
