摘要：The purpose of the study is to assess the impact of universities on sustainable
regional development, as well as to develop recommendations for the use of effective impact
tools. The data for the evaluation were collected through an online survey of 136 respondents
from different regions of Ukraine. The results of descriptive statistics show that, with a
probability of 0.99, universities are able to increase the existing level of influence on the
development of the region from 4.13 to 6.89. At the same time, the representativeness errors
are insignificant (0.006). To develop recommendations on the use of effective tools of
influence, the author used a case study and conducted a comparative analysis of the
experience of Ukrainian universities in promoting sustainable regional development.
