摘要:The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between job motivation of teachers
and 4+4+4 education system that was assessed in terms of transformational leadership. Data was
gathered from 295 teachers who work in the elementary and middle schools in the city of
Balıkesir in the 2016-2017 academic year. “The Scale of Assessment in Terms of Transformational
Leadership” scale and “The Scale of Job Motivation” which are adapted into Turkish education
context are used in this study. Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), Multivariate Analysis of
Variance (MANOVA) and Simple Linear Regression Analysis are conducted to analyze the data. As
a result of the analysis, according to the 4+4+4 Education System examined in terms of
transformational leadership, there is a statistically significant difference between school type on
planning and preparation factors. Also, It has been found that 4+4+4 Education System has an
effect on teachers' job motivation.
