摘要:Extraction of 137Cs from: Hypnum cupressiforme and Isothecium myurum mosses was investigated using the following solutions: H2SO4, HNO3, and a mixture of H2SO4 and HNO3 at three pH values (4.61, 5.15, and 5.75) and distilled water (pH = 6.50). After five successive desorption processes lasting 24 hours the following amounts of 137Cs [%] were extracted from mosses: using acid solutions 19.1-34.7 and 18.4-30.5, and using distilled water 29.1 and 26.9. Sorption of 137Cs was performed at no less than two sorption points in moss tissue. In the investigated pH region no significant influence of H2SO4 or HNO3 on 137Cs extraction was noted in relation to water extraction, i. e. extraction with acid rain with pH > 4.6.
