摘要:Collaboration is a key part of the development of twenty-first century cataloguing practices. The LC/NACOauthority file – under its various names and guises – is a proud example of how cataloguers have beencollaborating for many years. However, UK participation in one particular international collaborative project, theName Authority Cooperative Programme (NACO), is currently mostly limited to UK legal deposit libraries(Library of Congress, 2012a). (1) This paper describes the work being done by the CILIP Cataloguing andIndexing Group (CIG) to design a sustainable UK NACO funnel, which will enable all interested parties in theUK to participate in NACO in the future.
