摘要：Las cooperativas pesqueras de la zona Pacífico Norte (estado de Baja California Sur) son uno de los pilares de la tradición cooperativista mexicana. No obstante, escasean las investigaciones que indagan sobre su origen y consolidación. El artículo comienza a mediados del siglo xix y examina la valoración y explotación de ciertos aprovechamientos marinos por extranjeros. Continúa con el análisis del periodo posrevolucionario, momento en que las cooperativas fueron un instrumento legal para la explotación de los recursos naturales. La primera de la zona se constituyó en 1939 y la última en 1974. El estudio territorial analiza el lugar donde se concretizan la inversión y la mano de obra. Así será posible reconstruir los procesos territoriales de una de las zonas mexicanas más periféricas..
其他摘要：The fishing cooperatives of the Pacífico Norte region (in the state of Baja California Sur) are one of the pillars of the tradition of cooperatives in Mexico. However, there are only few studies regarding the sector’s origins and consolidation. The paper’s analysis starts in the mid 19th century and investigates the evaluation and exploitation of certain marine resources by foreigners. It continues studying the postrevolutionary period when the cooperatives were created as a legal instrument for the utilization of natural resources. The first one in the area was constituted in 1939 and the last in 1974. The territorial analysis focuses on the places where investments and labor take place. Thereby it will be possible to comprehend the territorial processes of one of Mexico’s most peripheral areas.
