  • 摘要:The study tries to elucidate on the stress faced by final level students of physical therapy. Studies have found that as and when they reach the final years, the students in any stream of medicine are prone to stress. This study proposes to examine the “perceived readiness to practice” (PRTP) of physiotherapy students in conjunction with their clinical postings, theory classes, self directed learning and scope of their profession. The three constructs used in the study are factor analyzed and an ANOVA is used to understand the mean differences of perceptions among the junior level students and final level students of physiotherapy. The study points out that, final level students are more stressed and are not yet ready to be committed to their profession and their “perceived readiness to practice” is still not well defined when compared to junior level students PRTP.
