摘要:Results-based management (RBM), which has been implemented successfully in the public sector in many developed countries, is a relatively new concept in developing countries. This article outlines the two major models of RBM, that is, the integrated results-based management system; the logic model and the conceptual model. It explores the main principles and the key elements, the rationale and the process of introducing the RBM in the public sector in developing countries. The article also examines the challenges that can be encountered in the implementation of RBM in the public sector in both developed and developing countries.
