摘要:This article of theoretical-bibliographic and reflective character starts from experiences experienced as a teacher in a school in the field in which students from the field and indigenous context coexist, from kaingang aldeamento, whose contact and conviviality daily reverberate in different situations that contribute to the thought of the place, diversity, conflicts and possible interactions between the subjects also enabling to rethink the look on the other, their culture and their characteristics. The problem addressed refers to an issue exposed by a student regarding the extraschool limits of interaction between ethnicgroups. What has been, in view of this, the role of geography teaching in schools in contexts of diversity? Given these issues and the proposed objective, the text is structured in three moments: a) Kaingang indigenous ethnicity and the peasant population: singularities; b) the school in the context of conflicts and approximations between groups; c) the teaching of geography for/in diversity..
