  • 摘要:Treading might be a path to an education of the spaces and landscapes of a town, providing means to understand environmental, cultural and social values, through the combination of recreational and educative values factors. Interpreting a pathway amidst landscapes might be an active way of experiencing and knowing close spaces, by means of awareness, sensitivity and development of acts and conduct based on respect and affectivity. The act of treading spaces is but a powerful pathway to the consolidation and awakening of a creative and imaginative geographic perspective. The text presented herein portraits education practices focused on the study of Macapá city, based on investigative, contemplative and educative paths, through urban routes or directions, in a context of Humanistic Cultural Geography. The education experiences were implemented after the Research Project “Urban Routes: a methodological proposal to experience, see and bee-in-the world”, conducted between 2014 and 2017, by researchers associated with the Laboratory of Geography Research and Teaching at UNIFAP..
