其他摘要：A lot of small white spots appeared on the surface of the dried brown algae Wakame, which was collected in Shonan, Kanagawa prefecture. We observed them using light microscopy and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). It was found that large amount of diatoms, Licmophora communis (Heiberg 1863) Grunow in Van Heurck 1881.
