摘要：Neste artigo far-se-á uma breve revisão na literatura sobre o tópico sentencial, itembastante mencionado nos estudos lingüísticos de base formal e funcional, mas ainda carente deestudos mais detalhados. A discussão que faremos neste espaço, no entanto, será pautada apenasnos trabalhos de orientação funcionalista sobre o tópico. Para tal, lançaremos mão dos trabalhosde Pontes (1987), Givón (1995) e Pezatti (1992 a 1998).
其他摘要：In this article one brief revision will become the sentential topic in literature, itemsufficiently mentioned in the linguistic studies of formal and functional base, but still devoid ofmore detailed studies. The discussion that we will be made in this space, however, will be onlybased in the works of functionalist orientation on the topic.
