摘要：Neste artigo, discute-se o problema da relação que existe entre literatura e linguagem, enfocando-o sob a perspectiva ambígua de que, na literatura, nem a linguagem é totalmente literatura, nem a literatura se confunde inteiramente com a linguagem. Partindo do pressuposto de que a voz da literatura não fala por meio de intuições parciais, mas dirige-se para um todo de experiência (de mundo e de leitura) que dá sentido ao ato de ler, busca-se investigar a relação entre essa totalidade e a linguagem em que se incorpora. Não sendo de todo linguagem – e não sendo, portanto, objeto de estudos que se centram exclusivamente no ponto de vista linguístico –, a literatura, compreendida como o todo, nos leva ao questionamento do seu ser. É nesse ser, questionado, que se deve procurar o sentido tanto dos empreendimentos da crítica e da sua linguagem específica, quanto das aproximações desarmadas de uma leitura que não se deseja metódica e, menos ainda, profissional.
其他摘要：In this article, the issue of the relationship between literature and language is argued under the ambiguous perspective that, in literature, neither language is totally literature; nor literature must be understood as language. Starting from the presupposition that the voice of literature does not speak by means of partial intuitions, and that it points itself to a whole of experience (of world and reading) that gives meaning to the act of reading, we try to investigate the relationship between this totality and the language in which it embodies. Not entirely language – and not, indeed, a subject to studies that center mostly in the linguistic point of view –, literature, understood as the whole, leads us to the questioning of being. It is in such being, argued, that we must search for the meaning either of the enterprises of criticism and of its specific language, either of the meaning of the unarmed approaches of a reading that does not mean to be methodic and, still less, professional.
