摘要：O presente artigo apresenta uma análise de aspectos dasilustrações referentes ao conteúdo de equilíbrio químico presentes nos seislivros aprovados pelo Programa Nacional do Livro Didático para o EnsinoMédio (PNLEM). Os aspectos estudados foram: a finalidade das ilustraçõesna seqüência didática; o grau de iconicidade; a relação da ilustração com otexto principal; a funcionalidade e as etiquetas verbais das mesmas. Para acoleta de dados, realizou-se uma análise dos livros mediante um estudoduplo-cego comparativo pelos pesquisadores e, em seguida, fez-se umaavaliação conjunta. A análise dos dados revela que é necessário ter cautelaao inserir ilustrações nos textos didáticos, pois estes são uma das únicasfontes de imagem para professor e aluno. Assim, é fundamental que ascontribuições advindas das imagens inseridas nos livros didáticos auxiliemna compreensão dos conceitos químicos.
其他摘要：The present article presents an analysis of aspects of theillustrations regarding the content of chemical equilibrium presents in thesix approved books in the National Program of the Textbook for the MediumTeaching (PNLEM). The studied aspects were the purpose of the illustrationsin the didactic sequence, the degree of iconicity, the relationship of theillustration with the main text, the functionality and the verbal labels. Forthe data collection were done an analysis of the books through a doubleblindcomparative study by the researchers and then a united analysis. Theanalysis reveals that is necessary take care upon inserting illustrations inthe educational texts, therefore these are one of the only sources of imagesfor professor and student. So, is fundamental that the resultingcontributions of the images help the comprehension of the chemicalconcepts.
