摘要：En este trabajo, hacemos una evaluación de la comprensiónlectora, de la velocidad de lectura, de la escritura asociada a la lectura y delas actitudes con relación al texto que han sido manifestadas por una muestrade 85 lectores de aproximadamente 14 años. De manera aleatoria, unaparte de los lectores ha sido designada a leer un trecho de un libro de textoy otra a leer un fragmento de un texto de divulgación científica que discutíanel mismo asunto. Los resultados obtenidos indican que el texto de divulgacióncientífica se ha asociado a un aumento de la velocidad de lectura, auna actitud más positiva de los alumnos con relación al texto, a una mejorcomprensión inmediatamente posterior a la lectura y a la producción de textosescritos más extensos. Esos hallazgos, considerados preliminares, indicanque los diferentes géneros de texto usados en clase pueden estar asociadosa diferentes tipos de lecturas, lo que sugiere la importancia de investigarsemás a fondo el proceso de lectura de textos expositivos de diferentesgéneros en la educación en ciencias.
其他摘要：In this work we present a preliminary evaluation of the readingcomprehension, reading speed, attitudes towards the readen text andwriting associated to the reading, revealed by a sample of 85 fourteen yearsold students. Part of the students was randomly assigned to read a fragmentof a textbook text while their peers read a fragment of a popular sciencetext dealing with the same subject. Associated to the reading of thepopular science text we have observed: higher reading speeds, a positiveattitude towards text enhance, better performances in the tests that indicatereaders’ understanding immediately after the reading. Also, the observedlength of readers’ writing production about text subject was different:among the popular science text readers we have observed longer texts.Although these results can be considered preliminary, we highlight that it isimportant that future investigations tackle the process of reading differentgenres’ expositive texts commonly used in school science.
