  • 摘要:Recently photovoltaic (PV) energy harvesting and its transformation into electrical energyattract substantial pursuits. In this PV power system, it is required to obtain the maximumavailable power by integrating the maximum power point tracking. Lately, the Z-source invertersare adapted as power conditioning devices, which act as a single stage power conditioner forconverting PV array DC voltage into AC output voltage, boost the voltage magnitude and drawout the maximum power. The photovoltaic array output voltage is controlled and the maximumpower point tracking is attained by controlling the shoot-through duty cycle. The well knownincremental conductance maximum power point tracking algorithm is modified to prevent thebewilderedness during rapidly changing irradiation condition. This algorithm is used along withthe shoot-through incorporated pulse width modulation techniques to control the Z-sourceinverter. Computer simulation and experimental results are rendered to establish theperformance of the proposed system.
