摘要：The acute financial crisis in Greece has brought new taxes on the diesel-oil price.The logic of substituting solid biomass for fossil fuels to produce heat is reinforcedeven more. The objective of this work is to estimate the new financial data. Longtermmeteorological data from 66 stations are analyzed in order to evaluate thefinancial feasibility of a pellet heating system at each site in Greece. The RETScreensoftware was used to predict the financial viability and the green house gas emissionsreductions. Thoughts-results which arise from this crisis are also presented.
