摘要:The paper deals with structures that allow an intelligent power flows management between thehousehold users, the electric distribution grid and the distributed generation units withinmicrogrids. Power electronics provide the control and flexibility required by the microgridconcept. Correctly designed power electronics and controls insure that the microgrid can meetits customers as well as the utilities needs. In the paper a new high-efficiency integrated powerconverter architecture for systems with renewable energy sources, in particular photovoltaic, isproposed which structure has as core the new Double Level Boost converter — and also involvesa couple of well-known power converter configurations (Buck-Boost converter, AsymmetricalBridge Rectifier) in its functioning. The design and architecture of the converter are explainedevidencing its effectiveness in terms of energy management.
