摘要:The first part of this paper will deal with the quality of interpersonal communication in aworld in full process of technologization – globalisation. Without underestimating the benefits ofinformation technology and “plethoric” communication we outline the unwanted impact they havewhen used excessively and exclusively in interpersonal communication. In the second part, wewill talk about the connections between the quality of interpersonal relation and the behaviouraloptions of the interlocutors in communication. We will show that achieving a high relationalcoefficient is an aspect conditioned by practicing comprehensive communication, and empathiclistening. The third part synthesises the results of a social survey based on questionnaire. Thesurvey’s goal was to find the behaviours of Bucharest students in their interpersonalcommunication and to find the way they perceive the quality of communication in Romaniansociety. It emphasises that in Romanian society the un-comprehensive behaviours are at all levelsof society, which limits, blocks, distorts communication, maintaining a general low relationalcoefficient. Bucharest students experience an emphasised feeling of limitation. This restricts theirfreedom of expression, suffocating their aspiration to profound first-rate communication.
