摘要:This article presents the theoretical background of mixed method research design and its relevance for audience research through the presentation of a mixed method based study. Following Lieberman (2005) my research design is a nested analysis where mixing large-N analysis (LNA) and small-N analysis (SNA) has been used. The purpose of the empirical research was to look at the individual acceptance of media technology innovation in case of television audiences, and exploring the changes in video content consumption and attitudes towards television and recording technology.
