摘要：Dans la perspective défendue ici, se poser la question du concert comme événement (ou non) n’est pas qu’un problème de chercheur, mais bien avant tout un problème pratique, pour ceux qui sont présents au concert. Le but de ce texte est de revenir sur ce problème pratique, en lui donnant une extension tout à la fois méthodologique (quant à la descriptibilité pour l’ethnographe de ce qui est en jeu) et théorique (quant à la potentielle félicité d’un spectacle, son caractère d’événement). Il s’agit donc de prendre au sérieux la méthode ethnographique, c’est-à-dire de déployer des descriptions situées d’une soirée hip-hop qui permettent d’avancer quelques propositions théoriques sur la question du spectacle vivant.

The aim of this text is to return to this practical problem, by giving it an extension both methodological (in terms of the description for the ethnographer of what is at stake) and theoretical (in terms of the potential felicity of a show, its character as an event). It is therefore a question of taking ethnographic methods seriously, that is to say, of deploying descriptions from a hip-hop party that allow us to put forward some theoretical proposals on the issue of live performance.
