摘要：This article presents in detail the Greek Studies Section of the Institute of Philology at the University of Rio de Janeiro - Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) - located in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. We focus on all activities organized by the professors and followed by the students of the Greek Studies Section, both in the field of Ancient Greek at undergraduate level, as well as in the Free Program of Modern Greek. Finally, we give an overview of all activities held in the Section, such as journal publications and collaborations with other universities.
