摘要：A partir del recientemente editado relato del viaje español de Charles Garnier (1868), nos hemos propuesto tratar en este texto la arquitectura de Carmen en un doble sentido del término. Primero, a través de la arquitectura que construye el mito romántico de la “España de pandereta” y que el drama de la cigarrera sevillana representa. Paralelamente, abordaremos la faceta arquitectónica de dicho mito desde la visión privilegiada del célebre arquitecto de la Ópera de París y su foco en la arquitectura y la ciudad española de mediados del siglo XIX.
其他摘要：From the recently published Spanish travel book of Charles Garnier (1868), we propose to develop in this article Carmen’s architecture in a double sense. First, through the architecture that builds the romantic myth of a “España de pandereta” represented by the drama of the cigar maker of Seville. In parallel, we will cover the architectural facet of that myth from the privileged view of the famous architect of the Paris Opera house and its focus on Spanish architecture and cities of the mid-19 th century.
