摘要：Este artigo busca fazer reflexões e discussões baseadas em experiências e vivências dos autores sobre a formação de docentes bacharéis que atuam na Educação Profissional, Ensino Superior e no Ensino de Pós-Graduação. A discussão se dá mais especificamente para o Docente Engenheiro. Qual o perfil do Professor-Engenheiro? Como este profissional aprende a prática docente, uma vez que não é licenciado? Será que o foco é na transmissão de conteúdos ou na construção do conhecimento? Considerando o contexto histórico e social, quais os desafios a serem enfrentados? Estas questões ganham destaque e levam a reflexões, mostrando a importância e a necessidade da formação pedagógica para os professores engenheiros. Visando a uma compreensão mais aprofundada do problema, esta pesquisa fundamenta-se com o aporte teórico de pensamentos e conceitos do sociólogo Pierre Bourdieu, além de autores como Maurice Tardif, Maria Isabel Cunha e István Mészáros.
其他摘要：This article offers reflection and discussion of Bachelor degree training of teachers who work in Professional, Higher, Undergraduate and Postgraduate Education, based on the authors’ experiences. The discussion focuses specifically on the Teacher-Engineer. What is the profile of a Professor-Engineer? How does this professional learn the teaching practice, given that he/she is not qualified as a teacher? Is the focus on the transmission of contents, or the construction of knowledge? Considering the historical and social context, what are the challenges to be faced? These issues are highlighted and lead to reflections, showing the importance and the need for Teacher-Engineers to have a teaching qualification. Seeking a deeper understanding of the problem, this research is based on the theoretical framework of thoughts and concepts of the sociologist Pierre Bourdieu, and authors such as Maurice Tardif, Maria Isabel Cunha and István Mészáros.
