摘要：La investigación trata sobre la legislación referente a la protección de la maternidad en países de Centro y Suramérica, tema escogido en razón a la importancia que reviste para el ámbito laboral y que atiende a la especial situación de la mujer originada en el hecho de ser portadora de vida. En la primera etapa se elaboran las tablas comparativas de los diversos países, los cuales fueron seleccionados por la facilidad que representa su unidad en cuanto al idioma y por su pertenencia a la OIT (Organización Internacional del Trabajo). En la segunda, se analizan las diversas legislaciones con el objetivo de conocer si es posible que eventualmente se presente un proyecto de ley en Colombia sobre la inclusión en la normatividad laboral, de instituciones jurídicas que desarrollan otros aspectos de este fuero en países de Centro y Suramérica y que podrían tener cabal aplicaci ón en el nuestro.
其他摘要：This research deals with the legislation relating to motherhood protection in countries of South and Central America, a topic chosen because of the importance it has in the labor sphere and in addressing the special situation of women, as based on the fact of them being bearers of life. At the first stage, comparative tables were made of the different countries according to a selection made easier by their unity with respect to sharing a same language and being members of the ILO (International Labor Organization). At the second stage, the different legislations are analyzed for the purpose of knowing if it is possible to eventually submit in Colombia a bill regarding the inclusion in labor regulations of judicial institutions that develop other aspects of this privilege or jurisdiction in Central American and South American countries, which could be properly applied in ours.
