摘要：La presente investigación describe la importancia de aprender a comunicarse con el tul para el pueblo nasa, también identifica los elementos que logran semejar su valor, como es el anaco o falda que cubre el cuerpo de la mujer, porque así mismo el tul cubre circularmente y protege la casa. También es conocido como la raíz que hace que el pensamiento nasa permanezca vivo; el tul es nuestra abuela sabia, cariñosa que nos protege, enseña, reprende, consiente, abriga, nos defiende. Es la casa grande, en el que permanecen los ksxa’w de la visión, los de las cuatro puertas de entrada a la huerta, ellos son los encargados de defender ante cualquier peligro además de alertar cualquier situación que se vaya a presentar en la familia y comunidad. Para llegar a estos conceptos fueron importantes las voces de los mayores entrevistados, quienes a partir de sus experiencias de vida con el tul, aportaron en el proceso de aprendizaje. De este proceso se concluye que el tul es el encuentro con las enseñanzas de los conocimientos de nuestros antepasados, también en él se vive la relación de interculturalidad entre las plantas, los ksxa’w (los seres espirituales de todo ser viviente) como personas enseñándonos la unidad en la diversidad, para finalmente demostrar que hay otras formas de comunicarse y que logran ser tan importantes que es necesario transmitirlas en los espacios donde se construye conocimiento en comunicación intercultural.
