标题：Liderazgo en los equipos deportivos: Qué pueden aprender los directivos de empresas de los grandes deportistas / Leadership in Sports Teams – What Business Managers Can Learn from Great Athletes
摘要：Los grandes deportistas ejercen un liderazgo en las canchas deportivas (y con frecuencia fuera de ellas), con características diferentes, según su carácter, de situaciones concretas y de las posibilidades de los equipos donde participan. Resulta de suma utilidad estudiarlos y analizar su comportamiento para descubrir el qué, el cómo, el porqué, el para qué y el cuándo lo hacen. En muchísimas ocasiones el carácter y el temperamento de esos líderes deportivos, coincide con el de muchos trabajadores. Se deben estudiar los rasgos sicológicos de esos trabajadores, pues requieren que se les comprenda y apoye. Ellos pueden impulsar e influir en el trabajo de sus compañeros y el de la organización. Los directivos deben estudiarlos y hallarán analogías con los deportistas destacados. Deberán encontrar fórmulas para estimular su trabajo, al igual que se hace con esos deportistas de élite. En este artículo se hacen recomendaciones concretas al respecto. / Great athletes have leadership qualities on courts and fields (and sometimes off them), which may differ according to their characters, specific situations they are in, and features of teams they are on. It is very useful to study them and analyze their behavior in order to find out reasons for that. Very often, many employees exhibit the same character and temperament as great athletes do. These employees’ personality traits need to be studied, because they need to be understood and encouraged. These employees may have an influence on their co-workers’ jobs, and organizations. If business managers would study them, they would be able to draw an analogy between great athletes and these employees. They should find ways to stimulate their jobs, as much as great athletes’ performance is encouraged. In this paper, suggestions for this are made.
