摘要：Os actuais debates sobre saúde, biomedicina e cidadania surgem no seio de um conjunto de reflexões marcado, por um lado, pelas transformações operadas no campo da biomedicina e do (bio)poder, e por outro, pelas reconfigurações introduzidas por diversos actores colectivos. Numa análise, sobretudo teórica e conceptual, evidenciam-se os debates contemporâneos na fronteira entre biologia e política. Esse texto põe, ainda, a hipótese de que algumas das mais visíveis redefinições em curso no panorama da saúde se desenvolvem, precisamente, nas constituições mútuas de dois processos: “biomedicalização” da política e de “politização” da biologia. 其他摘要：Contemporary debates on health, biomedicine and citizenship emerge among a set of accounts that is marked, on the one hand, by the transformations taking place in the field of biomedicine and (bio)power, and, on the other hand, the reconfigurations introduced by several collective actors. In a theoretical and conceptual analysis, those contemporary debates are drawn along a boundary between biology and politics. The paper also proposes the hypothesis that some of the most visible redefinitions, in progress within the current healthscape, take place, particularly, in the mutual constitutions of two processes: biomedicalization of politics and politization of biology.
