摘要:Continuing the studies of the relations between Spanish and Portuguese in the South Cone, this work explores the idea that each of these languages would itself keep one another´s memory as a result of a separation process. Such definition makes us think of the images which imply a kind of joy projection towards each other´s language in Spanish and Portuguese speakers; this way, we focus on those images present in the Argentinian´s forethoughts in relation with the Portuguese language. After detecting certain enunciation moments in the discursive memory about Brazil and the Brazilian, we analyse a Perlongher´s poem in that the referred projection of joy takes place in the symbolic. This makes evident the (dis)continuity which characterizes the Spanish-Portuguese relation and , in the opposite direction, the specific reification such languages are submitted in the contemporary world.
