摘要：La obra En Misión a Misiones presenta una síntesis de los relatos y experiencias que tuvo el funcionario del gobierno helvético Luis Ferrari como Comisario de emigración suizo en la Argentina en su recorrido por el Territorio Nacional de Misiones. En su viaje relevó información de gran valor acerca de las condiciones de vida de esos grupos de inmigrantes, las principales dificultades que éstos afrontaron en la adaptación a un entorno muy distinto al que estuvieron habituados en Europa, las enfermedades propias de climas tropicales, las prácticas más recurrentes para la preservación de sus rasgos identitarios y pautas culturales, las dificultades en mantener los lazos con su patria de origen, entre otros.
