摘要：En este artículo se discute, fundamentalmente, la fecha de establecimiento de las dos necrópolis de tipo merovingio descubiertas, por el momento, en Álava. De las evidencias publicadas hasta ahora por su excavador, A. Azkarate, parece desprenderse para Aldaieta (Nanclares de Gamboa) un inicio durante la primera mitad del siglo VI de J.C. Ligeramente más antigua parece la de San Pelayo (Alegría), fechada por la presencia de TSHT en sus ajuares a comienzos del mismo siglo. De esa manera, resulta factible conectar el origen de un área dependiente del reino franco en la zona occidental al sur de los Pirineos con el hundimiento del reino visigodo de Tolosa tras la batalla de Vouillé.
其他摘要：The date in which the two cemeteries of merovingian type discovered, for the moment, in Alava were established is the main subject discussed in this paper. From what has been published up to date by its excavator, A. Azkarate, it seems that Aldaieta (Nanclares de Gamboa) had an origin inside the first half of the VIth century AD. Slightly older appears that of San Pelayo (Alegria), dated by the presence of TSHT among its grave gifts at the beginning of the same century. It becomes possible, in that way, to connect the creation of a Frankish-dependent area south of the western part of the Pyrenees with the collapse of the Wisigothic kingdom of Toulouse after the battle of Vouillé.
