摘要：Este trabalho apresenta alguns conceitos propostos por Maingueneau (2008, 2010), com foco nos conceitos de percurso e ethos, e analisa o enunciado “Toca Raul”, em especial no que diz respeito a sua circulação e interpretação. O enunciado “Toca Raul”, atribuído à figura do cantor e compositor baiano Raul Seixas, é caracterizado como um bordão “onipresente” no Brasil, circulando, nesse sentido, por diversos campos discursivos e, por isso, é frutífero analisá--lo a partir da unidade percurso. Considera-se ainda, no presente estudo, a hipótese de que o enunciado emerge de um ethos irreverente/libertário.
其他摘要：This article presents some concepts proposed by Maingueneau (2008, 2010), focusing on the course and ethos, and analyzes the utterance “Toca Raul”, especially with regard to its circulation and interpretation. Said utterance, attributed to Brazilian singer and composer Raul Seixas, is characterized as an “omnipresent” catchphrase in Brazil, circulating in this sense by several discursive fi elds thus making it fruitful to analyze it from the course unit. It is still considered in the present study the hypothesis that the statement emerges from an irreverent/libertarian ethos.
