摘要：Estas reflexões têm como referencial algumas questões linguísticas que afetam o sujeito imigrante italiano (e seus descendentes) da Quarta Colônia de Imigração Italiana dentro de uma perspectiva discursiva. Objetivamos enfocar o que é e como se constitui essa língua do imigrante/da imigração, passadas décadas do processo de assentamento dos estrangeiros que falavam a língua italiana no Brasil, país falante de língua portuguesa, o qual impôs a esses sujeitos a necessidade de apreendê-la, em função de sua política linguística. Propomos, neste texto, portanto, pensar em que lugar poderíamos colocar o que nomeamos como língua de areia, uma língua que não é mais italiana ou portuguesa, tampouco sua intersecção, mas que, pelo político, se faz presente na/pela memória da/na língua de hoje, na referida região do estado do RS.
其他摘要：The forthcoming refl ections have as reference some linguistic issues that affect the Italian immigrant subject (and their descendants) in the Quarta Colônia de Imigração Italiana in a discursive perspective. We focused on what it is and how this immigrant/immigration language is constituted, after decades of the settlement process of the foreigners that spoke the Italian language in Brazil, a Portuguese speaking country, which imposed to these subjects the need to learn it, due to its linguistic policy. We propose, in this text, to think of where to place what we denominate sand language, a language that is no longer Italian or Portuguese, nor its intersection, but one that is, by policy, made present in/by the memory of the language of today in the referred region of the state of Rio Grande do Sul.
