摘要：Este trabalho analisa a trajetória de imigrantes como precursores do desenvolvimento local. Realizamos o estudo biográfico de Luís Szczerbowski, que se instalou em Três Barras-SC, no início do século XX. Ele trabalhou como apontador de terras da serraria Southem Brazil Lumber and Colonization Company, sendo ainda apicultor, agricultor, comerciante, proprietário de fábrica de cigarros e fotógrafo. Pautamonos em fontes orais e escritas somada as referências bibliográficas. Elucidamos aspectos da relação entre os imigrantes poloneses entrelaçadas ao poder econômico da serraria.
其他摘要：This work analyses the immigrants’ trajectory as precursors of the local development. We made the biographic study of Luís Szczerbowski who settled down in Três Barras-SC at the beginning of the 20th century. He worked as a land dealer in the sawmill Southern Brazil Lumber and Colonization Company, being also an apiarist, an agricultor, a trader, a cigarettes factory’s owner and a photographer. We have based ourselves in oral and written sources added to bibliographic references. We elucidated aspects from the relation among the Polish immigrants interwoven to that sawmill economical power.
