摘要：En el presente artículo se realizan un conjunto de reflexiones que revelan la esencia de la enseñanza aprendizaje de una segunda lengua, con énfasis en el idioma Francés y su importancia en la formación de profesionales en la institución. Las aproximaciones a los fundamentos del referido proceso permiten sustentar la necesidad de su transformación en pos de una mayor calidad y pertinencia, a los efectos del rol de los profesionales formados en el contexto hotelero y turístico.
