摘要：Esta investigación se realizó en la finca “La Estrella”, municipio Colina del estado Falcón, con el objetivo de evaluar el efecto de diferentes frecuencias y dosis de riego por goteo en el cultivo de sábila ( Aloe vera, L. ). Se utilizó un diseño en franjas con 4 tratamientos y 4 repeticiones contiguas: T 1 sin riego, T 2 riego por goteo cada 7 días a dosis de 0,5 L/planta, T 3 riego por goteo cada 14 días a dosis de 1,5 L/planta, T 4 riego por goteo cada 21 días a dosis de 3 L/planta. Se evaluaron las variables largo, ancho, grosor, peso de la penca y peso del gel, así como se estimó el rendimiento de biomasa y del gel. La aplicación de 0,5 litros por planta cada 7 días con el riego por goteo, permite obtener mayor largo, ancho y grosor de la hoja y altos rendimientos en el cultivo de la sábila.
