摘要：Esta pesquisa tem por objeto a Tecnologia da Informação (TI) e teve por objetivo realizar análise diagnóstica desta área na Fundação Oswaldo Cruz (Fiocruz). Para nortear esta análise foi realizado um estudo de corte transversal de natureza exploratória e descritiva. Tal estudo abrangeu as 23 Unidades da Fiocruz que responderam um questionário sobre sua estrutura de TI, assim como questões sobre processos, troca de informações e sugestões para que a TI se alinhe com a missão institucional. Também foi realizado um resgate da história da TI na Fiocruz tendo como fonte documentos institucionais. Observou-se que a TI aparece em um crescente ao longo do tempo, porém tais discussões não possuem a TI como foco, mas como suporte a projetos respondendo às urgências. Verificou-se a necessidade de montar um plano de formação continuada para os profissionais de TI. Foi possível perceber que a subárea de Sistemas Corporativos encontra-se muito aquém do ideal. Verificou-se uma baixa utilização de software livre nas estações de trabalho e a utilização de sistemas operacionais sem suporte. Existem poucos profissionais envolvidos com Segurança da Informação. Para a área de TI, propõe-se a implantação de um modelo descentralizado, sob a coordenação de um nível central.
其他摘要：This research object is the Information Technology (IT) and it aims to perform a diagnostic analysis of such field at Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz). In order to obtain guidance, a cross-sectional study of an exploratory and descriptive nature was carried out. Such study covered 23 Units of Fiocruz Foundation. A questionnaire about their IT structure was answered, as well as questions about processes, exchanging data and suggestions so that the IT can be aligned to the institutional mission. The recovery of the IT history at Fiocruz was also performed, having (with the sources of) institutional documents as source. It was noted that the IT appears in progress over time. However, such discussions do not put IT on focus, but in a position of support to projects, responding to emergencies. The need of creating a continued training plan for the IT professionals was verified. It was also noticed that the sub-area of Corporate Systems is far short the ideal. The low utilization of free softwares and the use of unsupported operating systems at workstations was verified. There are few professionals involved with the Security of Information. For IT area, the implantation of a new decentralized model is suggested, under the coordination of a central level.
