摘要：A finales del siglo pasado y principios del siglo XXI el número de instituciones culturales se ha incrementado singularmente. Países como Japón, Reino Unido y también Brasil son acometidos con nuevos museos a un ritmo singular. Este texto es un intento de comprensión de los factores que influenciaron el fortalecimiento de la cultura en las últimas décadas, dentro de un contexto en que el discurso de la postmodernidad se ha presentado como importante herramienta de análisis. Entrevistas realizadas con visitantes de un museo de arte en Brasil han señalado que la existencia de museos en nuevos formatos está en conformidad con las expectativas de una sociedad contemporánea donde las personas buscan vivir nuevas experiencias, valoran las sensaciones y desean disfrutar cada momento.
其他摘要：From the end of the last century and the beginning of the twenty-first century, the number of cultural institutions has increased considerably. In countries such as Japan, the UK and also Brazil new museums have arisen at an unprecedented pace. This text seeks to expand on the knowledge of the growing number of cultural facilities, new formats of museums and the prospects for innovation in museum spaces through the perspective of visitors. Surveys conducted at the Inhotim Institute in Brazil have revealed that the existence of museums and similar institutions in new formats is consistent with the expectations of a contemporary society in which people seek new experiences, value sensations and favour present time.
