摘要：Статья посвящена характеристике археологических исследований Эльвины Михайловны Медниковой, которая являлась сотрудницей Алтайского краевого краеведческого музея начиная с середины 1960-х гг. До этого времени данным учреждением практически не проводились собственные полевые изыскания, что существенным образом ограничивало возможности формирования представительного собрания древних и средневековых предметов, призванного отражать различные этапы в истории региона. Установлено, что большое значение для организации разведок и раскопок имело открытие при музее археологического кружка под руководством Э. М. Медниковой. Одной из характерных черт работы исследовательницы было активное взаимодействие с местным населением, позволявшее оперативно реагировать на информацию о случайных находках и разрушающихся памятниках. Важным этапом научной деятельности Э. М. Медниковой стали совместные археологические работы с сотрудником Института археологии АН СССР В. А. Могильниковым. В 1971–1976 гг. под руководством известного учёного и при участии музея осуществлялись раскопки в зоне проектируемого Гилёвского водохранилища. В настоящее время весьма актуальными представляются исследования, связанные с детальным анализом результатов работ Э. М. Медниковой и качественной публикацией материалов ее изысканий, лишь отчасти введенных в оборот.
其他摘要：The article presents the description of archaeological research of Elvina Mikhailovna Mednikova, who was an employee of the Altai Regional Museum of Local Lore from the mid-1960s. Until this time, the museum practically did not conduct its own field surveys, which significantly limited the possibility of forming a representative collection of ancient and medieval objects, designed to reflect various stages in the history of the region. It was established that the organization at the museum of the archaeological club under the leadership of E. M. Mednikova was of great importance for the explorations and excavations. One of the characteristic features of the researcher’s work was an active interaction with the local population, which made it possible to quickly respond to information about accidental finds and collapsing sites. An important stage in the scientific activity of E. M. Mednikova became joint archaeological research with an employee of the Institute of Archeology of the USSR Academy of Sciences V. A. Mogilnikov. In the 1971–1976 under the guidance of a famous scientist and with the participation of the museum, the Aleisk expedition carried out activities on the territory of the Gilevo reservoir construction. Studies related to a detailed analysis of the results of the E. M. Mednikova`s works and high-quality publication of the materials of her research, only partially introduced into scientific circulation are very topical now.
