摘要:Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe the relationship of diction mastery and creative thinking with the ability of narrative writing. This research was conducted at Setiabudi District School of South Jakarta in 2016/2017 with survey method with sample. Data retrieval technique through test for diction mastery and creative thinking with questionnaires and writing performance tests for the ability to write narrative. The results show that: (1) there is a positive relationship of creative thinking with the ability to write narrative; (2) there is a positive relationship of dictionary mastery with narrative writing ability; (3) there is a positive relationship of creative thinking and diction mastery with the ability to write narrative.
