摘要：Es una investigación de tipo correlacional comparativa, con el propósito de indagar la predictibilidad de la velocidad lectora y los procesos cognitivos a nivel semántico y sintáctico en la elaboración de inferencias; y encontrar sus relaciones; y comparar a cada una por el tipo de gestión de escuela; y por edad en 304 estudiantes del 4° y 5° grados de primaria de los distritos Los Olivos, Comas, San Juan de Lurigancho, San Martín de Porres y Carabayllo, ubicados en Lima, Perú. Se utilizaron las pruebas de medición de procesos cognitivos de la Batería BECOLE de Galve (2005); prueba de evaluación de elaboración inferencial-PELI de Holguin (2013); y medición de la velocidad lectora temporalizada - METVELO 3. Los instrumentos respondieron de forma favorable en fiabilidad, contenido y constructo. La velocidad lectora fue el primer factor causal de la elaboración de inferencias. En segundo lugar, se ubicó el procesamiento semántico. Existieron diferencias por tipo de gestión favorable a las instituciones privadas, y de acuerdo a la edad. El 70 % de los estudiantes del distrito de Carabayllo demostraron mayor nivel para inferir.
其他摘要：It is a research of comparative correlation type, with the purpose of investigating the predictability of reading speed and cognitive processes at semantic and syntactic level in the elaboration of inferences;and find their relationships; and compare each one for the type of school management; and by age in 304 students of the 4th and 5th grades of elementary school in Los Olivos, Comas, San Juan de Lurigancho, San Martín de Porres and Carabayllo districts, located in Lima, Peru.We used the cognitive process measurement tests of the BECOLE Battery of Galve (2005); evaluation test of inferential elaboration-PELI of Holguin (2013); and measurement of the temporalized reading speed - METVELO 3. The instruments responded favorably in reliability, content and construct.Reading speed was the first causal factor in the elaboration of inferences. Second, semantic processing was located. There were differences by type of management favorable to private institutions, and according to age. 70% of students in the Carabayllo district demonstrated a higher level of inference.
