摘要：El presente estudio aborda las contribuciones al canon literario escolar del álbum ilustrado La composición de Antonio Skármeta, con ilustraciones de Alfonso Ruano, una de las obras fundamentales de la literatura infantil y juvenil chilena que trata el tema de la dictadura y la represión. La obra, de marcado carácter histórico, favorece la reflexión del lector por la realidad que refleja y por el simbolismo de los elementos que la conforman. Tanto el relato como las ilustraciones conducen al lector a implicarse en la obra, sintiendo como propios el miedo, la tristeza y el cariño de sus personajes.
其他摘要：This study attends to the contributions to the academic literary canon of the illustrated album titled «La Composición» by Antonio Skármeta, with illustrations by Alfonso Ruano, one of the Chilean children’s literature essential works which deals with topics such as dictatorship and repression. This literary work, with a distinctive historical nature, benefits the reader’s reflection due to the reality reflected on it, and the symbolism of the element by which it is conformed. Both the account and the illustrations lead the reader to get involved in the story, feeling the characters’ fear, sadness, and affection as their own.
