摘要:The objective of the present study was to determine the total content of phenolics and flavonoids in ethanol extracts of Phlomis р ungens Willd. The total phenolic content was estimated spectrophotometrically using Folin Ciocalteu method. The total flavonoid content was measured by aluminium chloride colorimetric assay. The antioxidant and antimicrobial effects of the extracts were investigated. The Phlomis р ungens Willd can be regarded as a promising natural plant source of antimicrobial and antioxidant effects with high potential for phytopreparations.
